My Reverse Bucket List

“You can have anything you want if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.” ― Abraham Lincoln

Month 4 and I'm already struggling with my resolution to write a post a month, but gosh darn it, I have committed to rambling at least once a month. I don't know how I consistently kept a blog when I was in high school. And no, you cannot find it, deleted it ages ago. Had I not you'd still be able to read cryptic posts about boys, friends and school. I guess this is life post school!

Recently I read somewhere about Reverse Bucket Lists, which are about acknowledging past accomplishments, versus listing off things that have yet to happen. Given that I'm not so great at acknowledging what I have done, I figured that this would be a good exercise for. So here we go:

-freshman year of high school I won a dance scholarship

-when of the first productions I was in, I played the lead in an original work

-I've acted in two feature films

-I was the lead in a series

-can speak two languages

-wrote, produced and acted in a short film

-directed a one act (won an award for it)

-played one of the witches in Macbeth

-I've been in love

-have traveled to Europe

-have made lifelong friends

-got to work on a Britney Spears music video (I meaaaaaan!)

-have seen shooting stars

-have seen snow (saw it pretty late in life folks)

-I've kicked SERIOUS butt at Scrabble. I was not defeated in at least the last five games that I played

Would love to hear some of yours!
